I first learnt to sail as a 14 year old at Wray Castle on Lake Windermere in Cumbria during a school “camp”. From there I went on to race in dinghies and then moved to Offshore racing for the Royal Air Force until I retired in ’91. Sailing since then has been recreational bareboat sailing around the Virgin Islands, Whitsunday Islands, Caribbean, Hauraki Gulf, Mediterranean, Baltic, Gulf Islands BC and the Pacific.

Wherever I go, I photograph sailors and their boats. It also gives me great opportunities to capture seascapes and sunsets. Back in the UK I provide a service for clients enjoying either their own boats or hire craft.
